Is There A Herb For Anxiety?

Many people ask me, "Is there a herb for anxiety? Does a herbal remedy for anxiety exist?"

Well the simple answer is no, but actually there are some people, including myself, who believe that there is a herb for anxiety, or should I say a herbal treatment that helps alleviate the symptoms of anxiety.

A herb that I have used more than any other and one that the vast majority of clients find really therapeutic is Chamomile. Agreed it is an acquired taste, but it can be sweetened with sugar or honey to make it taste a little better if you can't stomach it in its natural form.

To say that it's a 'herb for anxiety' though is wrong. Chamomile has a soothing, soporific (makes you feel tired) property which can help to 'knock the edge' of anxiety and panic.

Some clients mention St John's Wort and other so-called 'natural anti-depressants and sedatives, it isn't that they don't work, it's simply that you don't need to take medication to stop anxiety, panic attacks and phobias.

There are many potions, vitamins, herbs and minerals on the market which claim to have therapeutic affects on anxiety disorders; after treating thousands of people over 7 years, the truth is that not one person has ever said that they have been cured by any of them, they have spent a lot of money but received very little help.

If chamomile tea helps you relax, use it, but don't rely on it. Anxiety disorder isn't an illness and as such doesn't require medicinal treatment... let me show you the most effective way of ridding yourself of anxiety disorders, panic attacks and phobias with out the so called 'herb for anxiety'.
