Depersonalization & Derealization

Despite how you feel right now, your Depersonalization & Derealization can be removed quickly without increasing your anxiety

Dear anxiety sufferer,

My name is Charles Linden and I suffered from depersonalization & derealization, agoraphobia, anxiety and panic attacks, obsessions, phobias and eating disorders for over 27 years of my life.

They took away my liberty and my dignity for years. Then I removed them all completely. In 1997 I discovered a way to eliminate these disorders and since then, I have helped over 270,000 people to recover.

I now have a team of the most amazing anxiety recovery specialists who help me to bring this program to the anxiety sufferers of the world.

Let me first explain that agoraphobia and anxiety affect every sufferer in different ways; however, there is a small group of symptoms which are common to most sufferers.

Agoraphobia is generally regarded as a fear of open spaces but this is inaccurate... most sufferers fear being away from a person or place of safety... in my case, I was so agoraphobic that I could have a panic attack moving from room to room.

It has nothing to do with geography and everything to do with FEAR.

But why do depersonalization & derealization develop?

People with depersonalization and derealization, often referred to as DP and DR, often believe that they have damaged their minds.

DP and DR sufferers often believe, or are told, that they have derealization disorder or depersonalization disorder - these disorders do not exist. That would be like a doctor telling a person suffering with a cold that they have 'runny nose disorder'. DP and DR are features of another condition.

How do Depersonalization &
Derealization develop?

Derealisation and Depersonalisation are both symptoms of high anxiety and sufferers of one can experience the other.

Many clients come to us in a distressed state, having been told by some therapists/professionals that they will have to live with depersonalisation forever. This is not the case. Both can be overcome completely.

First of all, understand this - depersonalisation and derealisation are completely normal symptoms of anxiety disorder.

Although they can both be very disturbing at times, they are completely harmless, think of them as a daytime dream. They DO NOT mean that you have any other condition, a mental illness or that you are going mad... they are just more anxiety symptoms.

Depersonalisation

A change in an individuals self-awareness such that they feel detached from their own experience, with the self, the body and mind seeming alien.

Terms commonly used to describe the symptoms and sensations of Depersonalisation:

unreal
disembodied
divorced from oneself
apart from everything
unattached
alone
strange
weird
foreign
unfamiliar
dead
observing the flow of ideas in the mind as independent
puppet-like
robot-like
acting a part
'like a lifeless two dimensional 'cardboard' figure
made of cotton-wool
having mechanical actions
remote
automated
a spectator witnessing ones own actions
as if in a film or on a TV program
not doing one's own thinking

Derealisation

A change in an individual's experience of the environment, where the world around him/her feels unreal and unfamiliar.

Terms commonly used to describe the symptoms and sensations of Derealisation:

spaciness
like looking through a gray veil
a sensory fog
spaced-out
being trapped in a glass bell jar
in a goldfish bowl
behind glass
in a Disney-world
dream state
withdrawn
feeling cut off or distant from the immediate surroundings
like being a spectator at some strange and meaningless game
objects appear diminished in size
flat
dream-like
cartoon-like
artificial; objects appear to be unsolid, to breathe, or to shimmer "as if my head were inside a Coke bottle and I'm viewing the world through the thick glass at the bottom"

Below, Clare talks about her DP & DR

Depersonalisation & Derealisation Treatment

Both of these conditions are directly caused by and are symptoms of anxiety.

Both depersonalisation and derealisation are caused by changes which occur in the way nerve signals are processed by the brain during high anxiety conditions.

Whilst they are harmless, they are also quite disturbing, HOWEVER, they can be eliminated very quickly using a method which addresses the cause of the anxiety imbalance at its root in the amygdala.

Reduction of your 'benchmark' anxiety level WILL produce elimination of depersonalisation and derealisation for every sufferer.

If you are human and have high anxiety, your body already has the in-built mechanism poised ready to reduce your anxiety and to eliminate the depersonalisation/derealisation and every other symptom of your high anxiety fast!

The Linden Method has treated tens of thousands of people, the vast majority of which experienced either depersonalisation or derealisation at some time during their condition.

"I suffered with depersonalisation and derealisation throughout the 27 years of my anxiety disorder. We have many, many people, especially, lately, young people who have smoked cannabis or taken illicit substances, come to us with depersonalisation or derealisation, thinking that they have somehow injured themselves and that they have done permanent damage to their minds... this simply isn't the case. Both depersonalisation and derealisation are temporary conditions that simply require 're-programming' to eliminate them completely." Charles Linden

The Linden Centre staff is always available should you wish to discuss these, or any other, symptoms which concern you. Discover how The Linden Method will eliminate depersonalisation and derealisation, quickly and permanently.

EVERY single person who has EVER suffered and recovered HAD TO go through this process!

There is no other way to recover from DP and DR.

What we call the process is irrelevant - the point is that your mind and body are set up to recover in just one way.

If you wish to remove DP and DR and the underlying anxiety completely, your mind has to go through this process...it's a good thing that it's so simple.

My wife, my team and myself run the world's only accredited, dedicated anxiety recovery and recovery practitioner training organisation... since 1997 we have helped over 270,000 people to recover from their panic attacks symptoms.
