I know it's hard to believe that you can get over emetophobia.

You're probably thinking... "but Charles how will I ever avoid being sick in the future?"

My answer is as follows... You won't need to avoid it... because you won't fear it.

It started when I was under four years of age and stayed with me till I was 27... now, honestly, I don't like being sick, why would I, but it doesn't really bother me and it certainly isn't the focus of my life any more.

Psychologists will have you believe that it's a PHOBIA... but it isn't... it's a symptom of an underlying high anxiety condition. An anxious focus.

Exposure therapy and medication - Cruel and pointless

I bet you've had medication, maybe even counselling... you may have been subjected to ridiculous 'exposure therapy' or had someone try to make you V voluntarily so that you overcome the phobia... it is absolute nonsense to think it would work, in fact, I will go as far as to say that it's abusive to make you try.

These people either don't understand the science or do understand it but do these despite it... either way, it's not the solution and it's highly unacceptable and unnecessary.

They tried this with me and with many thousands of my clients because they believe that FEAR causes the phobia, but they are wrong, emetophobia isn't caused by fear, it's caused by anxiety!

Fear and anxiety are NOT the same thing.

Fear is an emotion that serves a practical purpose in human survival, anxiety is a condition that must be addressed directly in order to get rid of the symptoms. Symptoms like emetophobia, agoraphobia, OCD, health anxiety, panic attacks etc.

You see, medicine and psychology states that these symptoms are stand-alone conditions BUT, they are not! They are manifestations of high anxiety. 

So what is the solution to emetophobia?

The solution is to implement a simple process that removes your ANXIETY - not your fear... just the anxiety, returning you to NORMAL FEAR RESPONSES.

So your emetophobia is caused by your anxiety and not the other way around.
